For my first post, I’m excited to share a special project: a 4x6 postcard design that serves as the foundation for a larger artistic vision. This postcard is not just a standalone piece; it’s the first step in a journey toward designing a book. Every element—its imagery, typography, and layout—is a fragment of a larger narrative that I plan to expand upon in book form.
My goal is to transform this small, intimate piece into a thoughtfully designed book, maintaining the essence of the postcard while allowing it to evolve. How does a single printed image grow into a multi-page experience? What choices will shape the transition from a compact format to an immersive one? These are the creative challenges I’m excited to explore, and I’ll be documenting the process here.
